MAC Winter Invitational 2026 Highlights After a well deserved holiday break, BTSC athletes are back to racing. The Markham Pan Am Centre was the venue for the MAC Winter Invitational and start of the long course swimming season. BTSC competed with swimmers from 25 other clubs making for a great weekend of competition. Here are some highlights. Trojan Cup 2025 Meet Highlights Barrie’s East Bayfield Community Centre was the site for Trojan Cup 2025. BTSC hosted the competition December 12-14 and welcomed the Muskoka Aquatic Club, Newmarket Stingrays, Orangeville Otters and Valley East Waves for an exciting weekend of racing. Ontario Junior International 2025 Meet Highlights Ontario Junior International took place December 11-14 at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Complex. This meet for 18 year old and under swimmers has fast qualifying standards resulting in elite level of competition. BTSC had 9 swimmers participating. Ken Demchuk International Invitational 2025 Highlights Alessa Darby and Kate Smith participated as part of Team Ontario at the Ken Demchuk International Invitational meet held at the Markham Pan Am Centre, November 28-30. Alessa and Kate achieved the qualifying standards for this high-level para competition that featured many of the best para swimmers from across the country. BTSC was one of 36 clubs participating at the meet which included teams from Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Barrie Aquafest 2025 Highlights The Barrie Trojan Swim Club was pleased to host the Orillia Channel Cats, Pickering Swim Club, Uxbridge Swim Club, Muskoka Swim Club, and the Dorado Stars for Aquafest Oct. 31 - Nov. 2.
