Head Coach & Director of Swimming
BIO
Endi began his coaching career with the South Florida Aquatic Club, before coaching with the Markham Aquatic Club, and then the Etobicoke Swim Club. Through his career, Endi has coached numerous Canadian National Age Group Records and Ontario Provincial Records. Endi has also coached swimmers onto Ontario Provincial Teams, Junior and Senior National Teams, and has been selected to coach on Provincial and National Team initiatives.
Endi holds a Swimming 301 certification through the National Coaching Certification Pathway, an Advanced Coaching Diploma through the Canadian Sport Institute - Ontario, and is a Chartered Professional Coach with the Coaches Association of Canada.

Groups Coaching: Senior Development & Junior
BIO
Joe began swimming with BTSC at age 7 and trained from Novice
through to Senior. He later earned his National Lifeguard Award and
Instructor Certification, teaching lessons and water safety with
the Simcoe Muskoka YMCA. A Sociology graduate from Laurentian
University and former Voyageur swimmer, Joe has since returned to
the pool deck to share his passion for the sport.
He has been involved in the Para Sport Games, completed the Intro
to Para Swimming Module, and contributed to Swim Ontario’s
Grassroots Working Group. Entering the 2025–2026 season, Joe
is taking the 201 Coaching Course while leading the Senior
Development and Junior groups.
Groups Coaching: Senior & Novice
BIO
Maks returns for the 2025–2026 season to coach the Senior and Novice groups. He is enrolled in Swimming 201 and is part of the Swim Ontario Grassroots Working Group, bringing both his experience as a competitive swimmer and a coach together with his passion for working with youth.

Groups Coaching: Junior Development & Provincial
Hadjer is a former algerian national champion and a dedicated swim coach with a rich competitive background. she represented her country at the Mediterranean Games and competed at the national level in both Algeria and France. Her international experience as a high-performance athlete provides her with a deep understanding of stroke mechanics, race preparation, and long-term athlete development.Since transitioning to coaching, Hadjer has pursued extensive professional development, completing courses ranging from community coaching specialized topics such as Introduction to Para-Swimming, Physical Development of Female Swimmers. On deck, Hadjer is known for her precise technique guidance, and growth-focused approach, helping swimmers of all ages build confidence and reach their potential.
Pre-Competitive Coordinator: Tiny Trojans & House League
BIO
Debbie joined the Barrie Trojan Swim Club as a parent in 2000 with all three of her children eventually swimming for the club. She began coaching with the Trojans in 2004 with the first Swim School Program and has since gained experience coaching all three Novice levels with many swimmers achieving Regional Times.
Debbie swam competitively with Etobicoke Memorial Aquatic Club, Lakeshore Swimming Club and Varsity at Ryerson P. I. She taught swimming, lifesaving, synchro and coached high school swim teams since she was a teen and has been an aquatic programmer with the Barrie YMCA and the City of Barrie.
Debbie shares per passion for swimming with her swimmers. Returning as the Pre-Competitive Coordinator, Debbie introduces swimmers to competitive swimming by improving their technique and building their self-esteem while encouraging them to make friends and have fun!
Amanda has previously been an age group coach and has enjoyed sharing her knowledge and experience of swimming to the pool deck. Over the length of her swimming career, Amanda broke the world-record in the 50m breaststroke and is a member of the 2012 Canadian Olympic Team. She attended the University of Calgary as a student-athlete and continued her studies at York University.
Amanda is excited to be returning as a coach for the Barrie Trojan Swim Club for the Provincial Development and TOP groups for the 2025-2026 season.
