Collingwood Clippers June Invitational 2025 Highlights
The BTSC TOP, Novice and Provincial Development groups were in Collingwood on June 21-22 to race in the CCSC June Invitational meet. There were 13 clubs participating in the four sessions over the weekend. Here are the highlights.
The following swimmers raced to top 3 finishes.
Esther Kim touched 1st in 100M free, 2nd in 200M IM and was 3rd fastest in 100M fly.
Raman Chaikouski used a 8.9 sec. best time to place 2nd in 200M IM.
Dylan Jackson came 3rd in the 100M backstroke.
Kayla Yao placed 3rd in the 200M freestyle.
The following is a summary of top 10 results for BTSC swimmers.
Dylan Jackson was 4th in the 200m IM and 200M freestyle. She used a 28.3 sec. best time in 100M breaststroke to finish 6th.
Kat McFarland was 5th in 200M free and 9th in 100M backstroke.
Boyd Miller’s 6.7 sec. time improvement in 100M breaststroke led to 5th place. He was 9th in both 50M and 100M freestyle.
Lucas Klajn was 5th in 100M freestyle and 8th in 50M freestyle.
Kayla Yao was 6th in 200M IM, going 7.0 sec. faster. She went 11.4 sec. faster in 100M butterfly to place 9th.
Andrew Bin’s 50M breaststroke race earned a 7th place overall.
Ainsley Kiser went 10.3 seconds faster over 200M of freestyle to earn a 7th place.
Sarah Leahy’s backstroke race resulted in a 7th place finish.
Andia Hakimian was 8th in 200M IM with a 11.3 sec. best time.

Mila Antiquerra was 22.6 sec. faster in 200M IM and 13.6 sec. better in 100M fly.
Claire Bevan had a 10 sec. time improvement in 100M IM.
Macie Bortolussi set new personal standards of 4.2 sec., 15 sec., 24.2 sec., and 7.6 sec. in 50M free, 50M breast, 100M IM and 50M back respectively.
Olivia Bowen’s 50M backstroke race was 8.4 sec. faster than her seed time.
Norah Faris had a 45 sec. 100M freestyle best time.
Kloe Gervais-Osmond went 20.7 sec. quicker in her 200M free.
Skyla Hawkes set a 20 sec. personal best in 100M free.
Jack Leahy’s 100M back and 100M free were 8.1 sec. and 7.7 sec. quicker.
Trystynne Madder-Lamb beat her seed times in 50M free, 100M free, 100M IM and 50M fly by 16.2 sec., 6.9 sec., 25.8 sec., and 21.6 sec.
Olivia Malkamaki had a 5.1 sec. best time in 50M breast.
Kenzie Marshall’s 200M IM race was 16.7 sec. faster than her seed time.
Elena McCormack had a 50M back time improvement of 6.2 sec.
Kat McFarland bettered her 100M breast seed time by 31.8 sec. Her 50M breast was faster by 8.1 sec.
Boyd Miller set a new 200M free personal standard 13.2 sec. under his seed time.
Nya Nurse also had a notable and faster 200M free, dropping 19.6 sec. from her entry time.
Sydney Paquet had time improvements for 100M free of 8.9 sec., and 100M IM of 6.3 sec.
Oakley Roberts went 8.2 sec., 20.1 sec., and 6.1 sec. faster in 100M back, 100M IM and 50M fly.
Aria Sarnat bettered her seed time by 5.5 sec. in 100M free.
Lauren Smethurst had a 13.9 sec. best time in 100M IM.
Layne Sutherland had a big 28 sec. time improvement in 100M IM.
Jeremy Tang finished his 50M freestyle 4.7 sec. quicker.
Kayla Yao made it to the 100M breast finish 11.5 sec. sooner than she had previously.
Saorise Zhang saw a 4.3 sec. improvement in 50M free.
Youmei Zhao’s 200M IM was 7.7 sec. faster than her entry time.
Oakley Roberts set personal best times in all 6 of her races.
Kat McFarland, Sydney Paquet and Kayla Yao had best times in all 4 of their individual races.
Ainsley Kiser had best times in 5 out of 6 races.
Macie Bortolussi, Elena McCormick and Trystynne Madder-Lamb also had 5 out of 6 race best time achievements.
