Speedo Canadian Swimming Championships Highlights
A strong contingent of Barrie Trojan swimmers competed at the Speedo Canadian Swimming Championships July 24 - July 30, 2024 that included six days at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre and one day in Welland for the open water events. The nineteen BTSC swimmers who qualified is a record high for our Club and the team was one of 149 Clubs participating in the championships. Our team was one of the largest in the country and swam to a fantastic 7th place finish overall. It is a testament to the hard work these swimmers and their coaches have put in throughout the season. For many of the swimmers, these championships represented their last meet as they look to move on to post-secondary experiences.
