Collingwood Clippers June Invitational Highlights

The Barrie Trojans were one of 12 clubs participating in Collingwood June 22-23 at the Clippers June Invitational with 36 swimmers attending. It was a fun weekend and a great way for many of our swimmers to end their season.

 

Here are some of the racing highlights from the meet.

  • Eva Beaudry had four 1st place finishes (50M, 100M, 200M free and 100M fly) and one 2nd place finish in the 100M back.
  • Johnny Martin’s 50M breaststroke race earned him 1st place.
  • Chase Turner was 1st in 50M back, 2nd in 100M IM and 3rd in 50M fly and 200M free.
  • Hannah Black earned 2nd place in 100M fly.
  • Sophie Bowen was a 3rd place finisher in 200M free.
  • Neo Zhang finished 3rd in 50M breast.
