2024 MAC Spring Invitational LC Meet Highlights

BTSC competed with 23 other swim clubs at the long course pool in Markham May 9 - 11. A total of 83 BTSC athletes were at the competition (51 girls and 32 boys). Congratulations to the multiple top 3 finish swimmers: Evan Beatty, Ben Millar, Griff Seguin, Scotty Sutton and Nathan Vaughan.

Of note, Baris Katoglu and Ben Millar achieved a Canadian Trials standard in their 100M fly and 200M fly swims respectively. A special congratulations to Emma-Lee Jacques for a fantastic 1500M freestyle swim earning her a Canadian Swimming Trials qualifying time. Marissa Battrick, Avelyn Gregoric, Sam Brundage, Keira Hornby, and Kaelyn Vroom had multiple top 3 finishes. And big congratulations also to Kylie Sarabura for achieving the OYJ qualifying standard for her 50M freestyle race!

The girls relay teams of Avelyn Gregoric, Sam Brundage, Maggie McConachie and Blayke Taylor and Blayke Taylor, Emma Vaughan, Maggie McConachie, and Sam Brundage were 1st and 2nd in the 4x50M medley and 4x50M freestyle relays respectively.
