On behalf of the Barrie Trojan Swim Club Board of Directors, we would like to take this opportunity to inform you of some recent coaching developments that have transpired over the past couple of days. In light of the recent resignation of Patrick Paradis, the Barrie Trojans would like to welcome Jason Morawski as our new Head Coach.

Having served as Assistant Coach for the Barrie Trojans for the 2009/2010 season, Jason brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Club. In his rapid rise through the coaching world Jason has coached the National Junior Swim Team for the North American Challenge Cup, developed Nationally Ranked #1 athletes, and mentored under accomplished coaches Dean Boles at ROW and Sean Baker at HAC in the past four years. He began his swimming life with the North Bay Thunder-birds (CT-33), and continued his swimming career through University with the Wilfrid Laurier University swim team. We are excited for this new opportunity, and we welcome Jason joining us in our pursuit of excellence in swimming.

The club has just completed a great year and we look forward to building upon this success with our new head coach. Finally we wish Patrick all the best in his new life endeavours, and thank him for his contributions to the team this season.

The BTSC Board of Directors is excited for the upcoming 2010/2011 swim season and together with Jason would like to invite you to the annual BTSC Kick-Off to be held on Sunday September 19, 2010. All members are welcome to come out and meet Jason and his coaching staff.
